A short, experimental movie structured in a three-act composition, yet without a traditional, linear storyline. The entire piece forms a cohesive (non)narrative, delving into the journey of the soul from the moment it dissociates from the earthly body and transitions to the world of the dead. Each chapter progressively introduces the viewer deeper into the folklore realm of Slavic afterlife and the moment of passage to the other side.
The motif of nature and countryside scenery has always been an inseparable element of Polish culture and art. The backdrop features the Polish landscape, serving not only as a tool to showcase a picturesque background but, more importantly, to convey the mysterious atmosphere, the soul, and the spirit of Slavic nature, encapsulating the essence of one’s existence.
